All research programs take place at The Rockefeller University.
Jumpstart
March – August
Jumpstart is a scientific research skills building program taking place across the spring and summer, and is designed for juniors and seniors attending high school in New York City, and freshman attending Hunter College. Visit the Jumpstart program homepage.
Summer Science Research Program (SSRP) & SSRP in situ
June – August
The SSRP is a team-based mentored research program for high school juniors and seniors (globally) and Hunter College freshman, and takes place for 7 weeks during the summer. Visit the SSRP program homepage.

Lulu Wang Scholars (LWS) Program
June – August
The LWS Program is a mentored research and curriculum-building experience for undergraduate students that spans two consecutive summers. The program culminates in the creation of a credit-bearing course, specifically in the form of a CURE (course for undergraduate research experiences), designed to help undergraduates build their molecular biology research skills. Hunter x RockEDU Scholars
March – August
Aimed at supporting freshman and sophomores attending Hunter College, the Hunter x RockEDU Scholars program blends hands-on research training through collaborative team-based projects done alongside upper class high school students and Rockefeller scientists. Visit the Hunter x RockEDU homepage.
Upskill Workshop Series
Fall & Spring Semesters
The Upskill Workshop series is an entry-level research skills course that introduces core research and professional skills to Hunter College undergraduate students, and takes place during the fall and spring semesters.
